When you are in Vegas you have to check this place out!! They take reservations and their happy hour is fantastic!! The vibe is fun! The food is really good. We ordered several of the happy hour appetizers. I love rum! So the Dole whip with dark rum was my favorite!!

What We ordered: -Teriyaki Lime Wings $16 -Spice Black Sesame Honey Wings $16 -Navy Grog (One of our strongest drinks, blending Dominican, Jamaican dark & overproof rums, with lime & grapefruit juices & honey syrup) $16 -Nico's Cocktail $16 -Banana Batida (Cachaca, banana liqueur, coconut cream, pineapple juice, & dole soft serve mix to create a delicious variation of the Brazilian classic cocktail) $16 -Tiki Flight (Mini version of our mai tai, painkiller, and piranha punch) $25 -Piranha Punch (Fassionola with anejo rum, apricot, fresh lemon, pineapple, orange, & strawberry puree. Easy drinking but with a smooth and fruity bite) $14 -Scorpion (Our scorpion brings rums, vodka, gin, & falanghina wine together with pomegranate, ginger, and faraway spices. Just watch out for that tail!) $15 Established in 2015. The Golden Tiki is a newer tiki bar located in a strip mall filled with several asian businesses and restaurants in Las Vegas' Chinatown. The bar is first come, first serve. It is strongly encouraged that you make reservation via their website thegoldentiki.com. You will need to book with a credit card where they will charge you $10 if you no show a reservation. I called to asking what the seating availability was and was directed to the website to make a reservation. I had difficulty making reservation I ended up not making one. We got very lucky as a 2 top table was available when we got there and they were kind enough to add a third chair for our party of 3. The service was very good. Our server was Liliana H and she was very helpful in offering recommendations of what to order based off of what we like and don't like. She explained how strong their drinks are based off. I started off with Navy Grog, my wife wanted something sweet and not so strong so she opted for the Banana Batida. My father-in-law wanted something strong and got Nico's Cocktail. Liliana brought over the Navy Grog and Nico's Cocktail and she lighted them on fire and she was very nice. She waited by our table until we finished taking photos of the drinks. As they must stay by the table waiting for us to blow out the flame before they leave. For the second round, I decided to try the Tiki Flight. This is a really cool concept that I've never seen at any other bar or tiki bar before. Many breweries offer beer flights for you to sample different beers. It's not often you see a Tiki bar offering a tiki flight. I offer praise to Golden Tiki for giving customers this option and they have recommended drinks to get for the flight, but you can even build your own customized flight. My wife decided to get the Piranha Punch as she wanted something sweet. My father-in-law wanted a strong drink so he ordered the scorpion which one of the strongest drinks on the menu. I have to say the drinks were pretty good. I was disappointed about the amount of ice used in the cocktails. It felt like the ice was too overpowering like a snow cone with some alcohol added to it. I'm not exaggerating in regards to the ice. However, the drinks were beautiful presented especially the Tiki Flight. I was bummed that there were a limited amount of mugs to be purchased. I was told they only had two options at this time. The mug they did have were very expensive like $60 or more with the drink. I felt like the price point was too steep. I really like how they had some good live music. When the live music stopped, the DJ took over with pop hits and hip hop. I like those kinds of music, but I don't necessary associate them with a proper tiki bar. It seems like this bar is more like a club-like vibe for young people. God! I must sound so old! Food The wings were pretty good. The Spice Black Sesame Honey Wings were pretty good and had a nice spice aftertaste to them. The price is a bit expensive for the portion of the wings. They were my favorite flavor wings. The Teriyaki Lime Wings were pretty good as well, but they tasted a bit too sweet. Pros -Extensive Menu -Cool Decor -Food Menu -Live Music -Large Bar and seating Cons -Expensive -Drinks have too much ice -Drinks not strong -Expensive Mugs and limited options -music not fitting for a tiki bar It is worth a visit coming here, but it's not my favorite tiki bar in Las Vegas. *It gives off this kind of corporate tiki bar vibe.*

Love going for their happy hour. $8 drinks and select appetizers. We also go for their Dean Martin impersonator who goes by the name DinoAlLaCarte. He makes any song into a lounge hit! Our server was good, but we noticed another server by the name of Ashley, going above and beyond to her tables with an awesome attitude for everything. Request her anytime you go!
